Pioneering the Future of Generative AI, Chip Design and Reliable VLSI Systems
The VLSI Systems Research Lab at The Hebrew University focuses on next-generation VLSI design, computer architecture, and hardware for AI systems. The lab addresses key challenges in advanced semiconductor technologies, including reliability in nanoscale processes, while developing innovative design methodologies and architectures. Our work spans aging-aware and reliability-driven design, machine learning–enhanced VLSI flows, and efficient hardware accelerators for AI workloads. By combining hardware innovation with intelligent algorithms, the lab aims to enable scalable, high-performance, and energy-efficient computing platforms for the AI era.
